Farmers Edge announced it is expanding its local partnerships throughout the agriculture supply chain. The new cooperatives signal the commitment Farmers Edge continues to demonstrate in advancing opportunities and facilitating innovations among different stakeholders in the agriculture sector. Comprised of some of the primary suppliers of agricultural products and services in western Canada, this round of partnerships includes: Redfern Farm Services Ltd., serving Southwestern Manitoba, Top Notch Farm Supply of Fillmore, Saskatchewan, Schoorlemmer Seeds, Alberta and Neepawa-Gladstone Co-op in Manitoba.
“We’re looking forward to this upcoming harvest season because it will demonstrate the positive results that these industry-leading technologies from Farmers Edge are producing for our customers,” said Wade Barnes, Founder & CEO, Farmers Edge. “These solutions have the capacity to greatly increase productivity, efficiency, and sustainability for all of the local growers who take advantage of our services. Acre by acre, farm by farm, agriculture is accelerating into the future.”
The expanded partnership brings the full suite of technology solutions from Farmers Edge to new partners and highlights the company’s leadership in developing and implementing the next-generation precision agriculture solutions. On-farm solutions from Farmers Edge are modernizing agriculture with a platform that combines field-centric data analytics, weather tracking, telematics, soil sampling, Variable Rate Technology (VRT), and more. Backed by the “Big Value, Small Price” initiative, these new representative partnerships underscore the integral role that agricultural technology solutions play in larger supply networks, of growers, ag retailers, suppliers, and stakeholders.
“Reaching more growers in their local farming communities and addressing their specific issues and needs has always been a top priority for us,” said Barnes of Farmers Edge. “With the expansion of these representative partnerships, a new wave of western Canadian growers will have direct access to the Farmers Edge technologies that optimize crop production, enhance soil performance, and digitize on-farm management.”
