AgGateway Mid-Year Meeting To Feature Precision Standards Discussion

AgGateway, the organization that is facilitating the creation of data standards across all segments of agriculture, is hosting its mid-year meeting in Altoona, IA June 8-11. Extensive work on standards for seed, crop protection products and fertilizer has in recent years extended to work in the precision agriculture space.

The mission of the Precision Ag Council is to “Facilitate the development of industry standards, guidelines and implementation protocols to enhance the ability of end users to capture the value of the precision technologies and systems;” and “review the current state of the industry encompassing the entire precision ag value chain, and identify issues and opportunities for collaboration.”
