All Case IH Patriot sprayers offer multiple features that contribute to spray performance, such as precision control of boom height, rapid changes in spray nozzle rate, GPS-guided boom-section control, and fully automated steering for convenience and accuracy.

“Because of the Case IH cab-forward, rear-engine configuration, Patriot sprayers are designed to get you in the field sooner – in any field condition – and this new 800-gallon machine offers an even greater advantage with a lighter overall footprint,” says Ken Lehmann, Case IH application equipment marketing manager. “The balanced weight distribution and light footprint of the Patriot ensures operators can get in the field when competitive machines cannot. During critical application windows that impact yields, our sprayers can get into tough terrain without damaging crops or creating ruts.”

“This new sprayer shares the same design DNA as the larger Patriot sprayers,” Lehmann explains. “That means a smoother ride for operators, more acres sprayed every season and better application accuracy in the field.”

In addition to product tank capacity, the elliptical tank configuration is available in either stainless steel or poly construction. The 3230 tank has a rated capacity of 800 U.S. gallons with a 5 percent overflow capacity for a total volume of 843 U.S. gallons for the poly tank and 850 U.S. gallons for the stainless steel tank.

Patriot 3230 sprayer also features the Case IH Surveyor cab, with the same operator amenities found in the cabs of larger Patriot sprayers, Magnum and Steiger tractors and Axial-Flow combines.

On the precision technology front, the 3230 is also available with the Case IH AFS AccuGuide- ready option. The AFS AccuGuide Ready option offers “plug ‘n’ play” autoguidance readiness for use with the AFS Pro 600 display, the AFS 262 GPS receiver and the Navigation II controller. These three components are also used on other Case IH equipment for guidance, machine control or monitoring and can be easily moved from one piece of machinery to another.

Users can also choose the AIM Command spray system. This patented spray technology providing precise spray with complete control. The system offers a 2 to 24 GPA range with constant pressure independent of speed, with near instantaneous ability to switch rates while using a single nozzle tip.

I provide technical support to farmers and manufacturers overseas and we apply ALL fungicides/insecticides between 2-4 gals/acre with much better results than 15 or 20 gals/acre.
