Spanish Cooperative Anecoop Fully into 4.0 Agriculture

With the aim of establishing the necessary strategies to adapt to a constantly changing world, one in which digitalization plays an increasingly important role, the second-degree cooperative Anecoop has evolved at a technological level, to the point of adopting a 4.0 agricultural model, reports FreshPlaza.

In 2000, the cooperative implemented a food safety system based on product traceability, and two years later, it started using a tool that allowed it to manage its commercial activity in real time, as well as its fruit and vegetable stocks in storage. The next step was the implementation of the Unicoo software program, designed for Anecoop’s partner entities, which was intended as a way to unify and centralize all processes. The Sage ERP X3 was selected as the basis on which to develop a vertical system that includes all the modules necessary for the management of a fruit and vegetable company and its various sections.
