Raven To Launch New Anhydrous System At National Farm Machinery Show

Raven Industries Applied Technology Division has introduced the new Accuflow Vortex system, which the company claims is the most accurate NH3 delivery system in its lineup of application controls. The Accuflow Vortex is a first-of-its-kind anhydrous ammonia application system that has increased capacity within a single cooler, which maximizes applicator time and creates a smaller footprint on the toolbar, says Raven.

Raven application control products are ISObus compatible, giving customers additional control options while reducing cab clutter.

“Application control is at the core of what we do, and our customers are calling for higher speeds, longer application windows, and larger toolbars when applying anhydrous. The Accuflow Vortex meets these needs by allowing growers and custom applicators to apply more anhydrous at faster speeds and colder temperatures, with less weight on the toolbar.  The system also comes pre-assembled, saving applicators even more time. The Vortex makes an already short application window that much more manageable,” says Matt Burkhart, vice president and general manager of Raven’s Applied Technology Division.

In addition, Raven is introducing their new AccuFlow HP+ system, which includes the Vortex cooler and a dynamically controlled pump for even greater capacity and precise application. Accuflow Vortex will be featured at the National Farm Machinery Show in Louisville, KY, and at other upcoming tradeshows. The system will be available for purchase in early March, 2014.
