Ranjeeta Singh

Singh brings more than two decades of experience helping industries and organizations to realize the benefits of artificial intelligence and data science from key roles with Intel and, more recently, data analytics giant Teradata.  Her expertise combines hardware, software, and services experience with roles spanning from strategy, product management, roadmap planning, product marketing, business operations, program management, engineering, architecture, and incubation of new IOT businesses.

“Solving customer pain points, and bringing IOT solutions together in ways that make a difference in the lives of people gives me immense satisfaction,” says Singh.  At Teradata, she worked with teams on ways to add value to the data platform, and she sees a similar team approach at Climate. “Getting data in one place, providing insight for farmer-customers, helping them to optimize inputs … it’s a natural evolution for my work and was very attractive to me,” she adds.

Singh has been busy getting up to speed on the challenges and opportunities in the agriculture value chain, but it’s a process she’s been through multiple times. At Intel, she worked on IOT and data science projects related to smart cities and the automotive industry among others, and is relishing the challenge of bringing  value to farmers.

“Climate’s strong R&D vision, combined with the company’s collaboration with Bayer and customers is a winning formula for long-term success in this important, growing industry,” says Singh. “I look forward to the opportunity to further develop this vision for FieldView’s current and future offerings.”

Singh will be based in San Francisco, CA. She holds a bachelor’s in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, India, a master’s in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York and a MBA from Santa Clara University. She is the recipient of the “Top 50 under 50 Most Powerful Women in Technology” award.
