Raven Industries, a global leader in precision agriculture technologies, has announced its expansion into Brazil with the opening of a regional headquarters in Paulínia, São Paulo.
Raven Brasil, aligned under the company’s Applied Technology division, will include a new facility staffed with over 20 employees by the end of 2018. Located just outside of Campinas, the facility will benefit greatly from Raven’s already proven value chain and be well positioned to provide excellence in the areas of service, quality and innovation. With dedicated resources for sales, training, repair, warehousing and assembly, this regional headquarters will provide customers with better technical service and support as well as product repair.
A leader in the application control market, Raven provides precision agriculture products designed to reduce operating costs and improve yields and profitability. Products like Raven’s Hawkeye Nozzle Control System are a natural fit for the large corn and soybean crop in Brazil. The most precise and durable system in the industry, Hawkeye will be one of the first pulse width modulation (PWM) nozzle technologies introduced in the South American market. Jeff Rohlena, Director of Latin American Operations and International Sales, will lead Raven Brasil. Rohlena has over 20 years of sales experience, including 10 years of international sales and business development experience with Raven.
“Our expansion into Brazil marks a major milestone in the growth of Raven,” said Brian Meyer, Division Vice President and General Manager of Raven Applied Technology. “Brazil has huge market potential for the technologies that are core to Raven. We are poised to provide innovative application control technology, backed by the outstanding quality and service our customers have come to expect from us. This headquarter facility will help improve our market share position and drive substantial growth for Raven over the long term.”
Raven plans to feature its products and services at the upcoming Agrishow in Ribeirão Preto, SP, Brazil.
