PrecisionAg Award of Excellence: Nomination Tips
– Fill out all questions completely. Ensure you’ve presented the full depth of the individual’s contribution to precision agriculture.
– “Spirit” counts. Include information that displays the nominee’s desire to educate others, inspire innovation, go beyond the status quo — enthusiasm for the industry counts in the judging process.
– Letters of recommendation. While not specifically requested, some entries included letters of recommendations from industry peers that provided insight into background and industry contribution. These added a lot of power to the entries.
– Photos and Images. Pictures can say a thousand words. If an image can serve to support the entry, feel free to include it in the nomination package.
