TerrAvion, Inc., a large volume provider of aerial imagery to agriculture, has announced an integration to allow TerrAvion’s aerial imagery to be displayed inside of John Deere Operations Center. For growers, the Operations Center on MyJohnDeere.com is the central location to connect to your machines, operators, and fields. It is also the hub to get connected to growers’ trusted advisors. More and more, growers seek to centralize their data management and TerrAvion views this integration as a method to simplify growers’ lives.
There are many utilities for the TerrAvion imagery displayed inside John Deere Operations Center, including scouting, creating a tank mixture, and writing a variable rate prescription. TerrAvion plans to continue to work with other companies to create other novel uses for its imagery inside John Deere Operations Center. TerrAvion offers an imagery subscription service that delivers imagery data on a season-long schedule. Imagery is acquired with small fixed-wing aircraft fitted with proprietary TerrAvion imaging hardware. With the ability to efficiently acquire and process imagery for millions of acres a day, growers and agronomists will have the information they need to make critical decisions throughout the growing season.
“This integration offers our customers an easy way to take action on the imagery. With it, users can review our aerial data, create a variable rate prescription, and guide their John Deere tractor,” said V.P. of Partnerships, Brandon Udelhofen.
