Climate Corp Announces 5 New FieldView Integrations

The Climate Corporation announced the addition of five industry-leading partners to The Climate Corporation’s Climate FieldView digital agriculture platform. The new partners — AgWorks, DroneDeploy, MyAgData, Sentera and Skymatics — will deliver powerful new capabilities and tremendous value for farmers, expanding the industry’s broadest and fastest-growing digital platform.

In 2016, The Climate Corporation announced the creation of Climate FieldView platform, the industry’s first platform that combines its own tools with those of a growing list of digital agriculture partners. This approach enables farmers to easily access a broad and interconnected set of tools, services and data from both The Climate Corporation and other companies. Since the inception of FieldView, more than 25 partners have joined the platform, and discussions continue with many more agriculture technology providers.

“We are delighted to welcome these impressive companies into our expanding suite of platform partners,” said Vilas Rao, vice president of strategy at The Climate Corporation. “Climate will continue to add new digital agriculture providers to our growing FieldView™ partner community to accelerate innovation and increase value for farmers.”

This list includes five new platform partners, ranging in capabilities from data analytics to insurance reporting, to aerial imagery and drone software platforms.

AgWorks provides innovative software products that manage agronomy needs. These products are designed to support ag retailers and ultimately make it easy and efficient for farmers to build closer working relationships with their agronomists. AgWorks’ partnership with Climate enables joint customers to share their agronomic field data with their agronomic partners. Its products include sales management innovations, new tools for retail connectivity to farmers, and analytics/decision support software.

MyAgData is a cloud-based data system that simplifies acreage reporting. Its agreement with Climate will allow joint customers to flow FieldView data to MyAgData to simplify acreage reporting to crop insurers and the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA). MyAgData formats the data to meet the reporting requirements of crop insurance companies, matches it to the Common Land Units (CLUs) required for USDA acreage and production reporting and produces reports by land or geography. MyAgData also supports USDA’s Acreage Crop Reporting Streamlining Initiative.

DroneDeploy is a leading cloud software platform for commercial drones. Its partnership with Climate will enable the flow of DroneDeploy’s imagery data into Climate FieldView, giving farmers access to more data layers for critical decision making on their farms. DroneDeploy enables agriculture professionals to collect and analyze drone data for use in crop scouting, stand counts, variable rate prescriptions, insurance claims, and more.

Sentera is a leading supplier of turnkey digital crop scouting and on-field data solutions, combining sensors, drones, and software. Ag professionals around the world use Sentera’s tools to support in-season decisions. Sentera’s partnership with Climate will allow real-time data to seamlessly integrate with FieldView to deliver accurate, timely insights to crop health and status for joint customers. As one of the world’s largest providers of drone-based agronomic data, Sentera offers resellers a complete portfolio of integrated solutions.

Skymatics provides a new aerial imaging tool called SkyClaim, developed to assist farmers by assessing crop damage using drone imagery. Its partnership with Climate will allow the flow of data from SkyClaim into FieldView so joint customers can precisely assess and report damage caused by hail, wind, flooding, fire, extreme cold and wildlife. This data can then be used to file crop insurance claims.
