AgIntegrated Acquires Exclusive Licence to Satshot’s Imagery Processing and Delivery Technologies
AgIntegrated, Inc. (AGI), a leader in precision ag data integration and software development, and Satshot, a leader and pioneer in agriculture remote sensing software and solutions for over 24 years, have come to an agreement for AGI to acquire an exclusive worldwide license to provide Satshot’s imagery processing, sourcing, and delivery technologies to third parties including ag service providers and FMIS software.
This agreement will allow AGI to leverage Satshot’s imagery and other remotely sensed data sourcing, processing, and delivery services and technologies and make them available to the network of service providers and third-party FMIS software enabled by AGI’s Onsite QC Pro integration system.
“To date, it has been challenging to process and deliver imagery effectively to the masses from multiple imagery sources,” said Duane Reese, President of AGI. “Historically, imagery was only readily available in bulk to agribusinesses and precision ag software with purchasing power. Now, agribusinesses can order and store their purchased imagery at a field level and leverage it within any of the software applications they choose. Incorporating this technology into our Onsite QC Pro system continues our mission to empower the industry with data collection, translation, cleaning, and integration tools so the data can be consumed efficiently by third-party software systems.”
“We’ve always been at the forefront of handling and managing remote sensed imagery for the ag industry, especially with satellites,” said Lanny Faleide, the founder of Satshot. “With AGI, we can now expand the reach of our tools and imagery to others that can utilize it at a grander scale using their own services, systems, and even brands if they want to. The industry is switching to this model and AGI has a great reputation and ability to provide these other connections helping all of those that need imagery get it in a easy and in a timely fashion which is very important for all involved.”
Going forward, Satshot’s Mapcenter, Landscout, and iCue user interfacing products will continue to be managed, supported, and sold under the Satshot brand independently as well as having Onsite integrations to be applied to these Satshot products directly.
