Leica, TeeJet Announce Product Partnership

Under the agreement, TeeJet will private-label and distribute Leica’s No-Drift mojoRTK auto-steer system, adding RTK-accuracy guidance to its suite of precision agriculture products.

“TeeJet has a long history of building high-quality application equipment and control technologies,” says Rich Gould, vice president of product strategy with TeeJet Technologies. “The addition of Leica’s RTK system and Virtual Wrench technology strengthens our product line and gives our customers easy access to the latest in high precision RTK positioning.”

Under the same agreement, Leica will capitalize on TeeJet Technologies’ range of vehicle-specific assisted steering kits to vastly increase the number of tractors the mojoRTK can steer. The list of kits offered by TeeJet currently tops more than 50 individual kits, designed to fit approximately 150 individual vehicle models. Initially, Leica will offer TeeJet vehicle kits through their network of premium resellers.

“At Leica we are focused on providing high-accuracy steering solutions and our relationship with TeeJet allows us to bring that capability to more farmers than ever before,” says Trevor Mecham, North American business manager for Leica’s Agriculture group. “The industry has never seen as many affordable solutions as they will see with this collaboration of resources.”
