GVM has added Brad Peiffer to its GVM AgJunction team. Residing in Moline, Illinois, Brad will focus on Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin.
Brad brings more than 20 years of experience in the agriculture business & 15 years specifically in precision agriculture and a strong business background. Upon completing his degree in Ag Business, Brad began his career working in grain orientation before moving into precision agriculture for Cargill. In 1996, Brad began working at AgChem Equipment Co. (now owned by AGCO) as a precision ag specialist with GVM’s current managing director, Jeff Dearborn.
In 2001, Brad left AgChem to start his own business, Net Mapping, which he sold last year. In addition to working for AgJunction, Brad is also active in his medium-sized family farm in northwest Iowa, where they grow corn and soybeans and raise hogs. Brad uses precision ag for everything on the farm, including soil sampling and yield monitoring.
Brad will join AgJunction as a regional precision ag salesman, but will also be heavily relied upon to help in the development of the AgJunction suite of products. He will play a vital role in ensuring that the AgJunction products provide customers with the functionalities they require.
“I am proud to be able to work for a company that builds products for niche markets, sticks to that and does it very well. I have no doubt that AgJunction will quickly become a leader in the marketplace,” says Peiffer. He can be reached at: email: [email protected].
