MAPS Software Offers Enhanced Agronomic Tools

Iowa-based NEW Cooperative and MAPS recently announced the development of a newly designed addition to their agronomic tools and solutions. MAPS Data Management (MAPS DM) allows producers who have, or plan on having, multiple years worth of field data and records the ability to enhance their decision making by more completely understanding their fields.

The first step begins by compiling multiple years worth of data from numerous data sources including yield data, planting data, spraying records, soil survey data, etc. By compiling these sources, the MAPS DM program is able to formulate multiple analyses, statistics, correlations and benchmark comparisons that will directly contribute to effective decision making. The decision making, along with execution, will be between the producer and a NEW Coop agronomist. As additional support to the producer and agronomist, Kevin Rozenboom has accepted the position as MAPS Data Management lead. Further effectiveness of the program will come through group meetings with other producers utilizing the MAPS DM program.
