Yetter Adds Touch Screen To Residue Manager

The touch screen gives growers several options for operation. One row, all rows, or a preset number of rows can be selected and raised or lowered as needed by the electric actuator on the residue manager. “Once a specified number of rows is selected, the touch screen will display a choice of adjusting up or down. Multiple rows can be selected and adjusted at the same time,” said Derek Allensworth, Yetter Manufacturing marketing manager.

The touch screen mounts inside the tractor cab for easy viewing and adjustment. The screen has more features and functions than the previous model and uses a smaller control box. Installation is simple because the system uses the tractor’s electrical system as a power source. The 2967 On-the-Go Residue Manager attaches to the faceplate of the row unit and is designed to fit most planter models.
