Sentera Teams Up With RDO Equipment

Sentera is excited to announce its partnership with RDO Equipment Co., a total solutions provider with 78 stores servicing the agriculture, construction, environmental, surveying, and irrigation industries. This partnership augments the RDO Equipment Co. already robust product offering, giving their customer network access to a variety of Sentera’s innovative unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) solutions including quadcopter UAVs, precision sensors, and AgVault Software.

“Sentera’s complete, easy-to-use, and affordable UAV solutions are a natural fit with the RDO Equipment Co. product portfolio. The offering fills a need for our precision agriculture customers who are just entering the UAV space,” said Jeff Lemna, Director of Customer Support at RDO Equipment Co. “With a comprehensive data management system and strong technical support, customers who are new to the concept, as well as our established UAV customer base, will find value in the additional offerings.”

Offering

RDO Equipment Co. will offer the following Sentera products:

  • Phantom 4 & 3 NDVI Upgrades: Transforms new or existing DJI Phantom 4 or 3 UAVs into precision scouting tools, retaining the Phantom’s stock camera functionality while adding TrueNDVI capabilities.
  • Sensors: Captures hyper-precise near infrared (NIR) imagery, Sentera’s Single Sensors produce unmatched true, normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) maps that easily translate data into action.
  • AgVault Software and Mobile App: Allows users to view crop health imagery and historical data at the field edge and quickly transfer prescriptive analytics into farm equipment.
  • UAVs: Includes the DJI Phantom UAV family of products.

“We are excited to extend our proven product offering to the RDO Equipment Co. extensive customer network,” remarked Kris Poulson, Vice President of Agriculture for Sentera. “Partnering with RDO Equipment Co. gives more agriculture professionals access to new, advanced agriculture solutions. Growers are continually looking for ways to predictably, efficiently increase yields and Sentera’s software and products are designed precisely with that in mind.”

Customers can use Sentera’s suite of software, sensors, and UAVs together, or independent of one another as a scalable solution. Flexible product combinations ensure every farmer, regardless of farm size, regardless of budget, can design and implement a robust end-to-end crop health management program unique to their operation.
