The mojoRTK auto-steer system’s capacity to store waylines makes repeatability easier for equipment operators. Wayline storage eliminates the need for users to continually re-set their first AB wayline when working in multiple fields.
“The wayline storage feature allows the user to save and recall up to100 AB lines,” said Darren Herstedt, North American service and support manager for Leica Geosystems Agriculture Group. “The stored waylines can be transferred between mojoRTK consoles using a USB jump drive.”
For repeatability, the base station must be placed in the same position. The base position for the desired wayline can be backed up from the console and loaded onto the base station using a USB jump drive.
“Adding AB wayline storage just made sense,” said Trevor Mecham, North American business manager. “The new feature is easy to use, provides a useful feature for growers, and is completely free of charge for new and existing customers.”
Future developments include compass headings, which will allow users to set guidance at an angle to the set AB line. Ask a Leica sales or service representative for more information.
The AB line storage feature is available in software versions 1350 and higher. An unlock code to access this upgrade can be obtained directly from Leica Geosystems by calling 877-800-mojo.
