The unit features simple on-screen setup and operation plus automatic coverage mapping. It is lightweight and portable, making it simple to move from vehicle to vehicle. It also incorporates G3 technology, allowing users to receive signals from all available satellite systems. “System 150 accuracy provides the in-field precision that farmers need to control operations and protect crops,” says Rod Haarberg, North American Precision Agriculture sales manager.
System 150’s boundary mapping feature enables operators to create an outline of fields that can be used for any application job performed. “This really helps with application quantity and coverage route determinations, thus saving fuel, time and chemicals,” Haarberg said. “The ‘dashboard’ screen provides indicators for area applied, speed, row number and satellite information while also building a color coverage map.”
Components of System 150 include the GX-45 control console and AGI-3 receiver. Features such as boundary and “U-turn” recognition make it easy for the operator to complete turns and “lock-on” to the next swath.
With optional Automatic Section Control (ASC), System 150 can automatically control up to ten sprayer sections as the operator crosses previously applied areas.
