Topcon Adds Customer Support Manager

Brad Peiffer has joined Topcon as a manager for customer service and support.  Peiffer will report to Jim Hinson, director of technical support and product testing for Topcon Technical Services (TTS).  In this newly created position, Peiffer will work with Topcon Precision Agriculture (TPA) to optimize existing support resources and infrastructure for agriculture and technical services.
 
Peiffer has an educational background in agriculture business and an extensive background working with agriculture retailers to implement new software and control systems into their businesses, increasing productivity and profitability.
 
Hinson said, “Brad’s leadership, education and precision agriculture and technology experience will build on Topcon’s already successful support program.  In this role, Brad will oversee the day-to-day management of ag support in North America as well as build a strong relationship with TPA distributors.”
 
In addition to managing the ag support team, Hinson said, “Brad will work closely with managers of the agriculture business unit to promote dealer training and as a liaison to dealers and OEM partners.”
 
Kevin Cobb, director of product management for TPA, said, “We are very pleased to have Brad joining Topcon. His years of experience with precision agriculture will no doubt result in him being a key contributor to our customer support organization. Brad comes with a diverse precision ag background, covering everything from back office data, to agronomics, to rate control, to machine operation.” 
 
Of his new position, Peiffer said, “I look forward to working for Topcon and helping my team of support staff bring a new level of support to the new and growing North American agriculture market.  I feel the highly trained staff we currently have and my 20-plus years of experience in precision agriculture can be key to the future growth and success of Topcon ag products.”
