Precision Ag Company Hopes To Give Farmers An Edge In Sustainability

There are many definitions for sustainability.

One definition is “meeting the needs of the present while improving the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Some companies and farmers want to document farming practices that meet this definition of sustainability that includes providing for today and improving the soil for tomorrow, reports Andrea Johnson on MinnesotaFarmGuide.com.

Field to Market, The Alliance for Sustainable Agriculture – a group of producers, agribusinesses, companies, conservation organizations, universities and public sector partners – is helping to define, measure and advance the sustainability of food, fiber and fuel production.
