Leica Adds Key Managers To Global Ag Team In 2012

Leica Geosystems has recently appointed multiple industry experts to further strengthen the growing precision agriculture business.

In June, Johan Arnberg was appointed as the new President of Machine Control Division, which includes the responsibility for Leica Geosystems Agriculture. Arnberg is a very experienced executive with a history of delivering success in machine control. Arnberg will drive the global growth of the agriculture business by promoting best practice, service excellence and innovation internationally.

Robert Johnson, former Global Service and Support Manager, started at his new position as product manager in September. He is responsible for further developing the suite of products and solutions for precision agriculture applications to deliver tangible value to customers’ operations.

In October, Joe Arico took the helm as global aftermarket manager, based in Brisbane, Australia. Arico will be responsible for managing all aftermarket products and solutions for the agriculture business.

In July, Steve Ims joined the US team as Regional Manager for the upper Midwest and the western US. Ims brings a vast knowledge for integration of GPS technologies into agricultural equipment.
