A whole new standard in ag retail plant automation – called Zone Automation – has been introduced by Junge Control, the precision experts in fluid and dry ingredient measuring, mixing and tracking systems.
According to Junge Control CEO Dave Junge, Zone Automation is a new common sense approach to ensure every zone in the plant is designed to work efficiently together in order to increase speed, accuracy and ease of operation.
Zone Automation focuses on five different plant operations: LIQUID CARRIER SYSTEMS that are pre-tested, calibrated, repeatable and the most accurate in the industry. PRECISION INPUTS, which consist of pre-assembled, pre-tested, NTEP-certified measuring devices based on weight (which is considered the most definitive process for precision measuring.) RE-PACKAGING, a precision packaging process that provides superior inventory management and features supply tank recirculation. LOAD-OUT – fast, easy, push-button control systems that can be designed to totally facilitate 24/7 self-automation during load-out. And COMMAND CENTER, totally integrated system control that’s simple, precise, user-friendly, exclusively PC-driven and available with unique, automatic-adjusting free-fall calibration.
Zone Automation virtually eliminates the need for specialists to design, install and service plant equipment starting with newly re-designed control panels, which simplify installation. “Today, a 10-year-old could install them!” says Junge. “There’s no need for out-of-state Master Electricians. You can easily install and support your plant equipment with your own staff, local electricians, local plumbers, local support. Making it simple means you keep running during ‘mission critical’ times, and don’t have to wait on out-of-state support.”
“This is the future and the path to greater accountability and more profit for ag retailers,” says Junge. “Every zone in an ag retailer’s plant is ‘mission critical’. That means no matter where you are in the plant, it’s all about “up time” and maximizing asset utilization. Zone Automation gives ag retailers the tools they need to ensure their customers are able to cover more acres every day, and have the precision and documentation to back it up.”
