GVM Adds Fleet Tracking, Data Management Program

The system is capable of tracking all makes and models of equipment, and provides up to one minute frequency updating of the GPS position of equipment in the field. Next job location information can be sent directly to the machine operator’s field computer, increasing efficiency. The system requires the use of either a Raven VIPER or Topcon X20 field computer.

GVM Telematics software uses one database to manage equipment tracking, reporting, and work orders, and manages all map-based work orders. New or changed work orders can be sent directly to the in-cab computers via cellular technology.

The software also provides equipment tracking reports for internal use as well as governmental regulation compliance. Customer farm and field maps and reports can also be exported for further processing, and work status reports can be generated for applicators and employees in the yard to manage time and jobs more efficiently.
