Cultura Technologies Inc. announces a new Durable Goods Tracking option for the AGRIS agribusiness management system. The new feature helps AGRIS system customers set up, record, report, and inquire on containers and additional durable goods to reduce effort in managing assets and related events, complying with U.S. EPA reporting requirements, and handling product returns.
The Durable Goods Tracking feature allows for managing and tracking all kinds of durable goods including chemical containers (bulk, mini-bulk, keg), seed containers, fertilizer/chemical pumps, serialized hardware, anhydrous tanks, fertilizer spreader carts, and more. The feature improves warehouse management through better inventory control and increased visibility to bulk chemical shrink. In addition, users can save time and effort in tracking events required when repackaging bulk chemicals as well as simplify regulatory reporting compliance. Product returns can be handled more easily with the ability to match and return durable goods at the right price and right cost based on specific customer scenarios.
“With new repackaging and refillable container regulations, the Durable Goods Tracking feature is timely in helping ag retailers address record-keeping needs and more effectively manage events related to containers,” says Russ Shirley, senior product manager with Cultura Technologies Inc. “The feature can help agribusinesses be more proactive in lowering risk – both financial risk from chemical cross contamination and lost assets as well as political risk in areas such as environmental impact and stewardship of resources,” adds Shirley.
The Durable Goods Tracking option is available with the current AGRIS Product Suite V9.5.0 service pack 20 release.
