AgRobotics And GVM Form Strategic Alliance

AgRobotics, LLC and GVM Inc. have formed a strategic alliance and marketing partnership for a ‘next generation’ GPS/GIS telematics offering which allows agricultural retailers to schedule, monitor, control, and track the AgRobotics™ soil sampling services using the on-the-go AutoProbe™ machine.

“Accountability, accuracy and environmental responsibility are what drew us to GVM and the new AgJunction® online GPS/GIS telematics software,” says AgRobotics CEO Jeffrey Burton. “They clearly have the vision for ‘Precision Agriculture 2.0’ with an open source marketplace attitude. We believe this strategic alliance will make it easy for dealers to manage fall acres for our soil sampling services using the AutoProbe™.”

“At GVM we’re proud to be associated with AgRobotics as they’ve proven not only their leadership in automating a back-breaking task with the AutoProbe on-the-go soil sampler,” says GVM President — Owner Mark Anderson, “but also their ability as a company to provide a more effective soil sampling service for ag retailers to offer their growers. As provider of precision farming equipment to many of the Midwestern ag retailers they’re targeting for fall soil sampling services, we feel this is a good strategic alliance.”

GVM Director of Technology Sales Aaron Hunt, says, “The association with AgRobotics and their ground-breaking AutoProbe machine used to provide GPS/GIS reliability and repeatability with on-the-go soil sampling services is extremely synergistic. The marketplace acceptance of their service is ready to explode across agriculture, as it has in the Mid-South. As we tested and improved AgJunction, we realized a strategic alliance made a lot of sense for not only both companies, but our agricultural retailer company clients.”
