Trimble Joins PrecisionAg Institute

Following its recent acquisition of Rawson Control Systems, a founding member of the PrecisionAg Institute, Trimble Navigation has assumed Rawson’s leadership position in the Institute. The PrecisionAg Institute is an independent global forum dedicated to the sharing of precision agriculture practices, ideas, research, products, services and success stories. The PrecisionAg Institute is managed by the CropLife® Media Group of Meister Media Worldwide.

The company has joined as a Precision Partner, reinforcing their commitment to improving the transfer of knowledge, the widening of adoption, and effectiveness of the use of precision agriculture technology. They join AGCO Global Technologies, Ag Leader Technology, Dickey-john, Micro-Trak Systems, Inc., OmniStar, Terra, and SST Development Group. In addition to financial support, Trimble will be providing guidance and counsel as activities and initiatives move forward in the months ahead.
