Prassack Advisors Adds Executive Consultant Jim Pollock

Prassack Advisors, an integrated agricultural technology consultancy, welcomes Jim Pollock to the company’s leadership team. As an Executive Consultant, Pollock will apply his technology, business and communication skills to provide innovative strategies to enable client success. Advances and use of technology are key to growing enough healthy food to feed the world while conserving resources and reducing environmental impact. Prassack Advisors works with clients committed to this challenge to optimize successful implementation strategies.

“We welcome Jim as a top-level consultant – he has honed a broad range of invaluable skills and experience to benefit our clients – from Silicon Valley and the Utility Corridor to the agriculture technology sector right here in Colorado.” Lisa Prassack, President of Prassack Advisors stated. “As a farmer himself, Jim truly understands and emphasizes the user perspective when assessing technology, information and the marketplace.”

“Prassack Advisors is working in the ever expanding and essential FEW [food (agriculture), energy and water] sector where there is an explosion of research and big data utilization,” said Pollock. “I’m thrilled to join Lisa and the Prassack Advisors team as the company not only works with innovative companies and technology, but also creates new, differentiated solutions to solve some of the most pressing problems currently facing farmers and the agriculture and food industry.”

A former Executive Director of the CTEK Colorado Technology Incubator and TechStars Advisor, Pollock has a 30+ year history of advising amd working for leading high-performing technology, product and startup initiatives. Some of the companies he has worked for include Hewlett Packard, aWhere, Inc., Highest Mountain, BusinessWorks, and Silicon Valley startups Structural Measurement Systems and Integrated Systems.

Jim currently lives with his wife and his cattle on a farm in Colorado. He holds a BSEE in Electrical Engineering from MIT.
