Ag Partners is being honored for its innovation in precision agriculture through its InSiteCDM program — a unique crop data management program that helps producers maximize profits and make more efficient inputs — as well as its leadership in the precision ag arena through its partnerships and forward thinking.

The company, which offers its customers a full-service approach to precision agriculture, has developed and managed InSiteCDM for the last eight years, with over 130 producers enrolled and counting. InSiteCDM helps producers by providing critical information through numerous layers of data taken from their fields. Coupled with analysis and guidance from its team of experts on what that data means for their operations, producers are given sound advice on how to make their operation more efficient and cost-effective.

“More and more growers these days have historic yield data. Unfortunately, many of them have never used it to make a decision for the betterment of their operation,” says Brent Low, Sales & Marketing Team Leader. “When a grower combines all of the GPS collected ‘data’ with a yield map it actually starts turning into information. Profitable decisions can be made with this information that not only improves a grower’s bottom line, but can be better for the environment as well.”

Low adds: “Our Precision Ag Team has the unique programs and excellent products and services to help producers prosper, and actively works through its organizational memberships and community involvement to both improve agronomic performance, but also ensure the best environmental performance possible.”

A leader in the industry, Ag Partners started variable rate fertilizer application and crop protection more than 20 years ago, making them some of the first to provide that practice in the area.

“Our agronomy and precision ag departments offer very unique and innovative solutions that provide increased customer profitability,” said Troy Upah, Ag Partners CEO. “We are extremely honored to receive this award, and look forward to further innovation in the precision ag arena.”
