FarmLogs User Conference Set For Orlando

FarmLogs today announced that it will host its first annual FarmLogs User Conference that will take place December 9-11, 2015, in Orlando, FL. The three-day event held at the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes Hotel and Resort, will bring together industry thought leaders, agtech experts and hundreds of progressive farmers from across the country to discuss innovations and insights on the future of farming.

“In 2012 we launched a modest record-keeping solution designed to help farmers like my family keep better track of their operations. In less than four years, and with the help, support and feedback from thousands of farmers, we’ve been able to solve some pretty enormous challenges and enable greater productivity and efficiency on the farm,” said Jesse Vollmar, CEO and co-founder of FarmLogs. “What we’re doing today with field-specific data was unimaginable even just a few years ago. And next year, we’re going to help farmers get even more out of every acre they farm. We are excited to reveal what will fundamentally change how we farm.”

The conference agenda will examine how farmers can easily leverage field-specific data from the latest FarmLogs technology to lower the costs of achieving higher yields and to get the most out of their farms. Academic experts in precision agriculture will share valuable insights into what farmers can expect to see next and how to prepare for a more successful 2016. FarmLogs data scientists and agronomy experts will offer in-depth discussions exploring topics like understanding how crop health monitoring works, using satellite imagery to lower costs, and in-season optimization of nitrogen applications.

FarmLogs is also proud to announce that Ford F-Series, America’s best selling truck for 38 years, will be sponsoring the conference. Additional conference highlights include:

  • Keynote from Kevin Van Trump, creator of The Van Trump Report.
  • Special guest speakers Dr. Raj Khosla and Dr. Scott Shearer on the future of precision farming and data analytics.
  • The future of FarmLogs: The new 2016 product offering, insights and demonstrations.
  • Appreciation dinner and reception to celebrate farmers.
  • Grower panel: Farmers will share their best practices and personal success stories that have saved time, reduced costs, and increased yields.
  • One-on-one training, hands-on technical support, and case studies.

Conference registration, agenda and additional information for the the 2015 annual FarmLogs User Conference can be found here: https://farmlogs.com/conference.

Over one-third of U.S. row crop farmers depend on FarmLogs to monitor field performance, maximize productivity, and grow crops more efficiently and profitably. The company’s field monitoring software notifies farmers when yield threats are detected; automatically logs in-field activities; and gives users instant access to field-specific rainfall data, soil maps, and yield maps.
