PrecisionAg Innovation Series

precisionag professional innovation seriesPrecisionAg® Media began producing events in 2014 with the production of the first Big Data Workshop in Ames, IA. Focused on the increasing concern about data privacy and ownership of field data, the conference drew more than 300 individuals from across the agriculture spectrum.

A second Big Data Workshop drew more than 200 attendees to Columbus in February 2015, and its success and positive industry feedback led to the creation of a broader franchise of precision technology events, the PrecisionAg® Innovation Series.

The PrecisionAg Innovation Series features one-day workshops designed to explore the real opportunities, challenges, and pain points being experienced by growers and precision agriculture technology integrators “on the ground,” with the two-pronged goal of providing deep-dive educational sessions and unmatched networking opportunities with the key thinkers and leaders in ag technology today.

The first event was held in Springfield, IL, in August 2015, and focused on existing and emerging data platforms. The second event, hosted in St. Louis in January 2016, centered on the perspectives of five farmers, their individual use of technology, and opinions of the technology and data tools and strategies currently available today. The third event was held in August 2016 in Des Moines, IA. and focused on game-changing advances In precision farming technology.
