Ag Leader-AutoFarm Alliance Brings Product Line Changes

The recently announced marketing and development alliance between Ag Leader and AutoFarm has added a wide range of both high and low-end GPS products under the Ag Leader banner. Here is an overview of the new additions to the Ag Leader technology portfolio.

INTEGRA™ Display. Featuring a large, full-color 12.1-inch high-definition touchscreen, the INTEGRA combines guidance, steering, and operation control, including an on-screen lightbar. Core functionality includes built-in manual guidance, full-screen mapping, planter and application control, yield monitoring, real-time data logging, and automated steering. As part of the full-screen mapping package, the INTEGRA display provides multiple map views allowing the operator to determine the level of detail needed to monitor applications.

ParaDyme™. The ParaDyme is a full-featured steering system with integrated wireless and cellular communication capabilities for remote diagnostics. The dual-antenna roof module provides operators automatic steering control with sub-inch accuracy, improving product placement and fuel efficiency while significantly reducing operator fatigue. With the dual-antenna roof module, ParaDyme uses Logic 7D™ technology to track pitch, roll, and yaw, as well as vehicle position and heading at all times, even when the vehicle is not moving.

OnTrac2™ With Assisted Steering. OnTrac2 now features hands-free steering to enable growers to cover more ground with greater accuracy and higher efficiency. Featuring Ag Leader’s EDGE™ display as the user-interface, OnTrac2 eliminates skips and overlaps, lowers fuel consumption, and reduces operator fatigue. This new assisted steering solution features quick and easy installation. The unique split-gear design of OnTrac2 does not require removal of the steering wheel for installation, but instead simply latches on and off.

EDGE Display Features. Guidance, steering, and boom height control have been added to the EDGE display. The latest firmware for the EDGE display has a built-in, full-featured guidance system, including an on-screen lightbar. The unit also serves as the user-interface for the OnTrac 2 assisted-steering system. EDGE now supports Ag Leader’s new advanced automated steering solution – ParaDyme™. With the EDGE display interface to the NORAC UC5™ spray height controller, users will be able to monitor and control boom height functions.

L160 CAN Bus Lightbar. As a companion to either Ag Leader’s EDGE™ or INTEGRA™ display, the L160 lightbar can be mounted on the windshield or dash, allowing operators to monitor guidance by looking straight ahead while keeping their display within easy reach. The L160 features an easy-to-read display with 16 multicolor LEDs. From the display, the operator can choose between chase or pull LED modes as well as configure LED spacing. The lightbar features adjustable LED brightness, making it ideal for either daylight or night use.
