PrecisionAg.com and the CropLife Media Group are proud to partner with the International Plant Nutrition Institute and PAQ Interactive on the production and development of this event, and I hope to see many of you there.

An informal reader survey found that those attending wanted to know more about the use of drones in agriculture, collecting and managing data, cross-platform compatibility, and variable rate technology updates on everything from fertilizer to crop protection and, most especially, seed. There will be sessions covering all these aspects, and 100 vendor booths for you to learn more about current products and solutions to your biggest challenges.

Personally, I am looking forward to attending several of the sessions myself. The pre-conference tour will feature a stop at Brandt Consolidated, where we will get an update on how the Monsanto IFS pilot program is working out so far. A second stop will provide a drone demonstration from AutoCopter.

At the conference, futurist David Zach will present a broader look at the future and how it will impact agriculture on Wednesday at 10:30 am as part of the PrecisionAg Luncheon, sponsored by SST. And if you can stay til the bitter end, I recommend holding out to see Jim Budzynski at the closing session, who will wrap things up with a discussion of “Agriculture 3.0.”

I’m also really looking forward to the receptions, meals, and breaks, where I can network with so many of you smart folks and find out more about what’s really happening in the trenches.

It’s not too late to register … even spending a full day here will be a great experience. Go to the Conference website for more information, and I hope to see you there.
