Dakota Precision Summit Set For January

Early Bird Registration and Exhibitor options are now available for 2013 Precision Agriculture Summit January 21-22 in Jamestown, ND.

Early bird registration is now available for the Precision Agriculture Action Summit in Jamestown North Dakota on January 21 & 22. The Precision Ag Summit is the region's only event to provide access to information, demonstrations, and instruction from experts on current and trending precision agriculture practices and technology.

Attendees will hear from nationally recognized leaders on trends in agriculture and advancements in technology. Current practitioners of precision ag techniques will share their experience and insights into proper adoption and use in everyday ag production operations.

The Precision Ag Summit should be a destination for farmers, agronomists, researchers, crop advisors, entrepreneurs, and business leaders. Demonstrations and session topics include In-Field Sensors, Vegetation Indicies and Nitrogen Rate, Using Nitrogen-Rich Strips to Calibrate In-Field Sensors, Variable Rate Applications, and Demonstrations of Displaying Field Boundries.

The event will be held at the North Dakota Farmers Union Convention Center, 1415 12th Avenue S.

This is the second Precision Agriculture Action Summit hosted by the Red River Valley Research Corridor and the North Dakota Farmers Union. Last year's summit attracted 250 attendees. Co-Organizers include North Dakota State University's Department of Agriculture and Biosystems Engineering and Lake Region State College's Dakota Precision Ag Center.

Continuing Education Credits (CEU) will be available for agronomists and crop advisors.
