Shutdown A Day Early

Well, the best laid plans of mice and men oft go astray. We sent out an alert on July 30 about the impending WAAS shutdown that was scheduled for today, July 31, but the powers that be at WAAS apparently changed their minds, shutting it down late Monday morning instead. I talked to Marlin Melander, marketing manager at Raven Industries at a show I am attending in Louisville, KY, and sure enough, the phone started ringing a day early. Make sure you talk to your product reps and get this taken care of, especially those seasonal units that are sitting in moth balls right now.

If you had any experiences with loss of DGPS on Monday, I'd love to hear about it ... use the blog comment area below and tell us about it. Remember, registered users must log in to leave comments. Not registered? Click here to register.

Good luck and we'll talk to you again soon.
