Farm Works Releases New Version

Farm Works has introduced their latest version of its software, called Farm Works 2008.

Some of the major additions to the office solutions include support for tank mixes, a buffer tool for calculating setbacks or refuge areas, and a new invoicing tool that fully integrates with field records.

Mapping improvements include post calibration of yield data, expanded map printing options and support for reading and writing the latest John Deere GreenStar 2, Case/New Holland Voyager 2, Raven .rbin, Ag Leader and other formats.

Highlights in the field solutions (Farm Site Mate) include 3-D mapping and boom section logging.  The 3-D mapping feature will also display all background maps, such as field boundaries, soil type/zone and point maps.  This feature makes it easier to find the precise location for grid and management zone soil sampling.

The guidance software (Guide Mate) also received enhancements with the addition of 3-D guidance and additional guidance patterns.  These patterns include last pass and pivot.
